Application

Silicon carbide. Black silicon carbide, green silicon carbide. Lumps, powder, grains, micro powder.

With SiC purity 98%min, it is a kind of high grade abrasive material, it has very high hardness, stable chemical characteristics, high melting point of 2700 degree centigrade. It is used for many different purpose of industry:

1.     Sand blasting media. The powder and grains are often used for blasting on steel, rocks, metal, to deal with the surface to fit for different requirement.

2.     Polishing and grinding. The powder and micro powder are often used for polishing, grinding to make the object surface smooth like a mirror.

3.     Refractory. As it has very high temperature resistance, it is used to make goods for working under high temperature circumstances. Such as bunker gear, aerospace plane cover board, thermal insulation material.

4.     Semi conductor. With its electrical conductivity, it is often used for semi conductors for precision instrument manufacturing.

5.     Anti erosion. It has super chemical stability, so, it is used for acid-base protect.

6.     Decoration. With shining grit of white and green color, It is also used for artistic decoration, household decoration, wear resisting floor, warship deck surface anti wear.

7.     Abrasive. Making abrasive wheel, disc, belt, cloth, abrasive paper, grinding stones.
