Application introduction about brown aluminium oxide

Application

Brown aluminium oxide, it is also named brown fused alumina, brown corundum, BFA.

As a kind of common artificial abrasive material, it has very high hardness, stable chemical characteristics, high melting point. It is used for many different purpose of industry:

1.     Sand blasting media. The powder and grains are often used for blasting on iron, stones, metals, to deal with the surface to fit for different requirement.

2.     Polishing and grinding. The powder and micro powder are often used for polishing, grinding to make the object surface smooth like a mirror.

3.     Refractory. As it has very high termperature endurality, it is used to make goods for working under high temperature circumstances.

4.     Anti erosion. It has super chemical stability, so, it is used for acid-base proctecture.

5.     Decoration. It is also used for artistic decoration.

6.     Abrasive. Making abrasive wheel, disc, belt, cloth, stones.

7.     Abrasive Ground. Such as the runway for airplanes.
